Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 August 2026
The short version: there are no accounts, no ads, and nothing you do in the study guide is sent to us. Your progress is stored on your own device and we cannot read it.
PassDGT is a study guide for the Spanish DGT driving-theory exam, available at passdgt.app and as an Android app. The Android app displays this same website, so this policy covers both.
What stays on your device
The app saves your progress in your browser's local storage, on your device only. That includes which answers you have revealed, your per-chapter right and wrong counts, your practice-exam scores, and anything you tick or type on the exam-booking page, such as your province and your exam date.
None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives it and no way to read it. Clearing your browser data, or using "Reset study progress" in the app's settings, erases it permanently.
What we measure
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages they open. It is privacy-first by design: it sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device or browser, and does not build a profile of you across sites or visits. We see aggregate counts, never individuals.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or any third-party marketing tags.
What we do not do
- No user accounts, sign-ins, or passwords.
- No advertising and no ad networks.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data. There is nothing personal to sell.
- We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or files.
- The Android app requests no runtime permissions.
Links to other sites
The exam-booking section links to official Spanish government pages, including the DGT electronic office at sede.dgt.gob.es. Those sites are run by the DGT, not by us, and have their own privacy policies. We receive nothing back when you follow a link.
Children
PassDGT is aimed at adults preparing for a driving licence, which in Spain requires you to be at least 18. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, correction, erasure, and objection over personal data held about you. We do not hold personal data about you, so in practice there is nothing for us to return or delete — the study data lives on your device and you can erase it yourself at any time. If you would like that confirmed in writing, email us.
Accuracy of the content
PassDGT is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Dirección General de Tráfico. Exam fees, procedures, and rules change; always confirm details on the DGT's own pages before acting on them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
